1. Introduction
Welcome to AutoSignal ("App", "Platform", "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms").
By using our website and application, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
2. Description of the Service
AutoSignal is a digital platform that allows registered users to:
- Report vehicle-related incidents (e.g., damage, obstruction, safety concerns)
- Upload photo evidence
- Notify vehicle owners
- Register vehicles to receive reports
- View and manage vehicle-related notifications
- Access limited public visibility pages for certain damage cases
AutoSignal is NOT:
- A public authority
- A law enforcement service
- An insurance provider
- A dispute resolution body
The platform facilitates communication and visibility only.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
3.1 Account Requirement
All users must create an account to use the Service.
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate account information
- Securing your login credentials
- All activity under your account
3.2 Age Requirement
- You must be at least 18 years old to register a vehicle.
- Users under 18 may not use the Service to register vehicles.
By creating an account, you confirm you meet these requirements.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Submit accurate and truthful reports
- Upload authentic, unaltered photos
- Use the Service in good faith
- Respect other users
You agree NOT to:
- Submit false or malicious reports
- Harass vehicle owners
- Use the platform for surveillance
- Attempt to identify other reporters
- Circumvent security or trust systems
- Upload illegal content
- Use AutoSignal for commercial solicitation
Violation may result in suspension or permanent removal.
5. OCR & System Limitations
AutoSignal uses automated systems (including OCR technology) to detect license plates and process images.
We do not guarantee:
- 100% accurate plate detection
- Correct vehicle matching
- Immediate notification delivery
Users are responsible for verifying submitted information before confirming reports.
The Service operates on a best-effort basis.
6. Public Visibility of Damage Cases
Certain damage cases may be publicly visible for a limited period.
Public visibility may include:
- License plate number
- Damage photos
Public visibility does NOT include:
- GPS location
- Contact information
- Private messages
- Personal account data
Public content is temporary and automatically expires.
AutoSignal is not responsible for third parties who independently share or distribute publicly visible content.
7. Content Ownership & License
By uploading photos or other content to AutoSignal, you grant AutoSignal and HexSoft Ltd a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sublicensable right and license to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and otherwise operate with the uploaded content in any manner related to the Service.
This includes, but is not limited to, the right to:
- Store
- Process
- Display
- Deliver to relevant vehicle owners
- Temporarily publish (where applicable)
- Use for abuse prevention, legal compliance, and platform improvement
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content you upload and that your content does not infringe any third-party rights. This license survives account deletion where retention is required for legal compliance or abuse prevention.
Registration certificate images (talons) are permanently deleted immediately after vehicle identification is complete. Damage report photos and scanned plate images are retained for 7 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
8. No Guarantee of Owner Response
AutoSignal does not guarantee that:
- A vehicle owner is registered
- A vehicle owner will view a report
- A vehicle owner will respond
- A vehicle owner will take action
The platform provides notification tools only.
9. Abuse & False Reporting
Submitting knowingly false reports may result in:
- Account suspension
- Trust score penalties
- Permanent account termination
- Legal action where applicable
AutoSignal reserves the right to investigate suspicious activity.
10. Account Deletion
Users may request account deletion at any time.
Deletion process:
- Account enters a 7-day reversible deletion period.
- During this period, the user may restore access.
- After 7 days, the account and associated data are permanently deleted (except where retention is legally required).
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
AutoSignal and HexSoft Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits
- Vehicle damage
- Disputes between users
- OCR inaccuracies
- Notification delays
- Third-party misuse of public content
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."
12. Intellectual Property
All trademarks, branding, software architecture, and design elements of AutoSignal belong to HexSoft Ltd unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.
13. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the AutoSignal Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy.
14. Changes to the Service or Terms
AutoSignal may modify:
- Features
- Public visibility rules
- Trust scoring logic
- Notification systems
- These Terms
Updated Terms will be published within the app and/or website.
Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Disputes shall be resolved in Bulgarian courts unless otherwise required by EU law.
